The company dedicated to health and well-being at work is strengthening the coherence of its approach by adopting the status of Adapted Company. Ergosanté can thus both employ and train more workers with disabilities and offer client companies the possibility of participating in a socially responsible approach while optimising their Agefiph contribution.
Anduze, September 12, 2019: ErgoSanté, a technological player in the social and solidarity economy dedicated to health and well-being at work, obtained on September 6, 2019 the Adapted Company approval from the Regional Directorate of Companies, Competition, Consumption, Labor and Employment (DIRECCTE) of Occitania.
An Adapted Enterprise (AE) welcomes within its workforce people recognised as disabled workers to enable them to carry out a paid professional activity in conditions adapted to their needs. It employs at least 80% of disabled workers in its production workforce.
This approach is part of Ergosanté's strategy to produce a large proportion of its ergonomic seating, which accounts for the majority of its sales, in-house. The company had already started to integrate disabled people into its production department two years ago. The approval of the Adapted Company will allow Ergosanté to reinforce this approach: the company plans to extend its production workshop by 400 m² and to recruit 10 disabled people in the coming year.
Production volumes are expected to increase rapidly, driven by strong growth dynamics as well as by the renewed appeal of the new status to client companies. By choosing Ergosanté, companies will be able to strengthen their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) approach and reduce their AGEFIPH or FIPHFP contributions according to their turnover, because by buying Ergosanté products they indirectly employ disabled workers.
For Samuel Corgne, founder and director of ErgoSanté, "Ergosanté's raison d'être is to promote access to employment for able-bodied and non-able-bodied people. What could be more logical and natural for us than to start by welcoming people with disabilities into our ranks? The Adapted Company approval will allow our clients to allocate their budget for the employment of disabled people differently and probably work with us more. But for me, this approval is above all a validation of the coherence of our approach and the meaning of our mission.
