Anduze, 29 March 2021 - ErgoSanté, a technological player in the social economy dedicated to health and well-being at work, is accelerating its international development with the opening of its first subsidiary, ErgoSchutz, based in Öhringen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. ErgoSanté is thus establishing itself in the most industrialised country in Europe to distribute its flagship product range for export: exoskeletons dedicated to the protection of industrial workers.

ErgoSanté will present its latest exoskeleton, the HAPO, a posture harness for anyone who needs back assistance and/or whose workstation is considered back-breaking. The HAPO reduces strain on the lumbar region and protects the intervertebral discs by redirecting strain from the upper body to the thighs using fibreglass springs and a support capacity of up to 14kg.

Work-related back disorders have been widely documented in Germany. Companies are particularly sensitive to the return on investment of preventive measures and are looking for solutions to address these increasingly common pathologies. For example, in 2018, the mutual insurance company DAK-Gesundheit produced the report "Rätsel Rücken" ("The back puzzle"), which reveals the following facts:

Anduze, 13 November 2020 - Ergosanté, a technological player in the social and solidarity economy dedicated to health and well-being at work, today announced the official confirmation by Alès Agglomération of the allocation of a state subsidy of 800,000 euros as part of the "Territoires d'Industrie" programme. This subsidy is part of a global financing project of 2 million euros.

In constant development since its creation, Ergosanté is one of the companies contributing to the strategy of reconquering territories, in this case the Alès Basin where it is established. The €800,000 grant confirmed today by Territoires d'industrie is part of a €2 million global financing programme, comprising €1.2 million in grants, €400,000 in bank loans and €400,000 in equity capital. It aims to finance industrial projects that create jobs and wealth for the region, namely :

• The construction of a new manufacturing plant for ergonomic seats, which will allow the relocation of part of the production, and the exoskeletons produced by the company;
• The pursuit of innovation through the development of new models of exoskeletons;
• The structuring of the adapted business model;
• Accelerating international development.

On this last point, Ergosanté, having noted a strong interest in its range of exoskeletons internationally, has started to structure its export distribution network and is already present in New Zealand, Holland and the USA. Discussions are in progress with distributors in Brazil, Mexico, Canada, Italy and the United Kingdom. The investments described above are expected to create 26 direct jobs locally over 3 years, as well as many indirect jobs, in the region and at the national level. These will be in addition to the 25 jobs already created this year, despite the health crisis. ErgoSanté launches the HAPO, a posture sling designed for anyone who needs back support and/or for people whose workstation is considered to be a strain on the back.

This exoskeleton-type device is the second to come out of the ErgoSanté innovation laboratory. The first, theexoskeleton ShivaExoThe first product to be released in April 2019 was a multifunctional exoskeleton designed to relieve upper limbs and back from the musculoskeletal stresses of everyday life. The HAPO focuses on back tension: it reduces lumbar stress and preserves the intervertebral discs by redirecting the upper body's efforts towards the thighs thanks to fibreglass springs and an assisting power of up to 14kg. Anduze, September 12, 2019: ErgoSanté, a technological player in the social and solidarity economy dedicated to health and well-being at work, obtained on September 6, 2019 the Adapted Company approval from the Regional Directorate of Companies, Competition, Consumption, Labor and Employment (DIRECCTE) of Occitania.

An Adapted Enterprise (AE) welcomes within its workforce people recognised as disabled workers to enable them to carry out a paid professional activity in conditions adapted to their needs. It employs at least 80% of disabled workers in its production workforce.

This approach is part of Ergosanté's strategy to produce a large proportion of its ergonomic seating, which accounts for the majority of its sales, in-house. The company had already started to integrate disabled people into its production department two years ago. The approval of the Adapted Company will allow Ergosanté to reinforce this approach: the company plans to extend its production workshop by 400 m² and to recruit 10 disabled people in the coming year.

Production volumes are expected to increase rapidly, driven by strong growth dynamics as well as by the renewed appeal of the new status to client companies. By choosing Ergosanté, companies will be able to strengthen their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) approach and reduce their AGEFIPH or FIPHFP contributions according to their turnover, because by buying Ergosanté products they indirectly employ disabled workers.

Anduze, 11 April 2019: ErgoSanté, a technological player in the social and solidarity economy dedicated to health and well-being at work, delivered this week to Airbus Helicopters the first exo-skeleton from its production subsidiary Ergosanté Technologie. After 3 years of research and development within the framework of an innovation partnership with the SNCF, Ergosanté is launching its first exoskeleton model, the SHIVA EXO, designed and manufactured 100% in France. This exo-skeleton is designed to protect the health of operators who work for long periods in awkward positions, with their arms in the air for example, or who carry heavy loads.
The SHIVA EXO belongs to the family of passive exo-skeletons: entirely mechanical, it works without batteries. It has been designed to prevent shoulder, back and elbow injuries: the weight and mechanical stresses supported by the exoskeleton no longer pass through the shoulders and back and are directly redirected to the hips. Lightweight and durable, the device can be disengaged on each arm and is worn by the operator to relieve all the musculoskeletal stresses experienced on a daily basis.
Having followed the development of the project from the outset, Airbus Helicopters is now acquiring a first example for a test phase, before a more extensive deployment.
