The history of ErgoSanté has been linked since the beginning to the notion of keeping disabled employees in employment. In spite of favorable regulations for the past 30 years, the situation of disabled workers is struggling to improve. The 1987 law on disability requires companies with more than 20 employees to employ 6% of disabled workers. The integration of disabled people into the workforce remains extremely difficult.
