ErgoSanté, a technological player in the social and solidarity economy dedicated to health and well-being at work, is today launching its new physical assistance device, the HAPO, dedicated to relieving back strain . In a context of health crisis, the company is reducing its production capacity to a minimum to protect its employees and is organising itself to continue to produce, under the best safety conditions, devices useful for people who remain mobilised during the crisis, such as operators in the logistics sector.
ErgoSanté launches the HAPO, a posture sling designed for anyone who needs back support and/or for people whose workstation is considered to be a strain on the back.

This exoskeleton-type device is the second to come out of the ErgoSanté innovation laboratory. The first, theexoskeleton ShivaExoThe first product to be released in April 2019 was a multifunctional exoskeleton designed to relieve upper limbs and back from the musculoskeletal stresses of everyday life. The HAPO focuses on back tension: it reduces lumbar stress and preserves the intervertebral discs by redirecting the upper body's efforts towards the thighs thanks to fibreglass springs and an assisting power of up to 14kg. It is particularly suitable for operators in the logistics sector.
Manufactured in Anduze, France, the HAPO, due to its innovative fiberglass design, is a high-performance and more accessible solution (up to five times less expensive) than the devices on the market. Marketed at a price of €990 excluding VAT, the HAPO is available as of this week in the 12 ErgoSanté branches covering metropolitan France.

Samuel Corgne, founder and CEO of ErgoSanté, states Faced with the exceptional situation we are going through, the first measure taken at ErgoSanté was to put the majority of our activities on hold in order to protect our employees. However, we want to remain useful where we can be useful. It was therefore decided not to postpone the launch of HAPO, in order to meet the demand of clients in the Logistics sector, whose operators will be extremely busy in the coming weeks. In addition, we have undertaken to redirect our textile manufacturing unit to the production of protective masks, which we will make available free of charge to caregivers and all our customers and partners. In these difficult times, improving working conditions remains our priority mission.
