| October 18, 2022 - ErgoSanté, a technological player in the social and solidarity economy dedicated to health and well-being at work, is acquiring a minority stake in the Montpellier-based company ALTERINOV, the parent company of BODYNOV and the Lyon orthopedic school ESOOP. An acquisition through a capital increase of 300,000 euros. BODYNOV, an orthopedic company elected Innovative Company of the Year 2018 by the French Society of Obesity Surgery, recently cited by the newspaper CAPITAL as one of the 400 best French start-ups, has just celebrated its 10th birthday. The undisputed market leader in the manufacture of custom abdominal support belts, BODYNOV built its reputation by taking care of people with obesity before positioning itself on visceral surgery and more recently on lumbar activity. With its unrivalled know-how in personalized medical devices, BODYNOV now relies on ErgoSanté's R&D skills and resources, which are useful for its technical and commercial development. " In truth, if sharing skills is crucial, the will to succeed is enough ", according to Thierry Beauquesne, President of the ALTERINOV Group. Synergies and a common trajectory A key French player in workstation design and physical assistance devices on an international scale, ErgoSanté has established itself as the leader in France in the design and manufacture of passive exoskeletons. In the same line as BODYNOV, the Cevennes-based company designs and manufactures innovative and customized ergonomic solutions for people's health and well-being. To do this, it relies on a laboratory and a design office that give it a unique ability to develop, test, and optimize each of its projects with agility. The operational synergies between the two companies, which share the same values focused on the protection of vulnerable populations, are numerous. They now share a common path marked by a large number of innovative projects. About ErgoSanté BODYNOV : The Hérault-based company BODYNOV was created in Montpellier in 2012. It has 80 employees and a turnover of 10 million.
