We had the pleasure to receive in our Cévennes factory Sophie SCANTAMBURLO-CONTRERAS and Fréderic SALLES, co-founders of the young and promising company from Montpellier specialized in the re-use of professional equipment.
On the agenda for this visit was the finalization of a partnership that consists of bringing our complementarities into play: EcoSiège collects and refurbishes batches of chairs to near-new condition, and SCOP3 resells them as part of office layouts with second-hand equipment. Our two structures thus carry further their common objective: to reduce the carbon impact of office fittings while promoting reuse.
This activity is growing rapidly, since the law against waste for a circular economy now requires local authorities and administrations to use 20% of reconditioned furniture in their public orders.
