The bio-inspired exoskeleton
Imagine a technology that takes inspiration from nature to create sustainable innovation. Using the honeycomb structure of bees, the HAPO UP exoskeleton is designed to offer great strength in a minimum of materials.
Light, powerful and intuitive in nature, the HAPO UP is designed to relieve the upper limbs of workers who wish to limit muscular stress and the appearance of MSDs linked to repetitive movements.
It offers protection to the shoulders and arms during awkward and prolonged postures with arms raised or when handling loads with upward bending.
These risky postures lead to articular degradation of the arms and shoulders in many sectors and trades (non-exhaustive list): construction, public works, maintenance, industry, agriculture, crafts.
A natural evolution of the SHIVA, the HAPO UP draws its power from a composite blade architecture patented by ErgoSanté. At rest, the arms of the exoskeleton are attached at the belt level, which guarantees an ergonomic installation for people suffering from shoulder pathologies.
