Use the new EcoSiège collection guide to give your office a facelift!

Do you have a worn-out office chair you don't know what to do with? Don't throw it away. You can give your furniture a second life with the EcoSiège collection service. EcoSiège offers free collections of your office chairs and trays for recycling. This simple, eco-responsible and free solution enables you to reduce your waste volume as well as your carbon footprint. So, how does it work?

What materials does EcoSiège collect?

Our team travels free of charge throughout France to collect all office chairs with armrests and castors, from 15 seats upwards. We also collect office trays and even offer to buy back your old brand-name seat with armrests.

Please note that we do not collect first-price Asian office chairs, which are not of sufficient quality for total renovation. Meeting and reception chairs with 4 legs, as well as sofas and stools, are also not part of our collection.

How does our upgrading process work?

Once you've made your collection request on our website, our local teams come and collect your damaged furniture. By collecting your used seats on our return deliveries, we optimize our routes to improve efficiency. By making full use of our loading capacity, we reduce our carbon footprint.

Would you like to do something eco-responsible?

Would you like to find out more about how our collections work? Please visit our dedicated page on our website.

And if you're ready to take the plunge and refurbish your office furniture, don't hesitate to apply online now. We organize the collection of your used chairs by making an appointment by phone or online. We'll provide you with a time slot to prepare it, and our local teams will collect it directly from your workplace. Once the collection is complete, you'll receive a CERFA donation certificate proving that the reusable materials have been recycled.

Internal recycling for reduced environmental impact

At EcoSiège, we're proud of our recycling process, which gives office furniture a second life and helps protect the environment. By opting for our collection service, you can make a small contribution to preserving the environment.

In our upcycling approach, we leave no part unused. The most worn parts of your seat will be recycled in-house. This enables us to reuse them in other projects or pass them on to specialized waste management channels. Nothing is lost, everything is transformed! This approach enables us to minimize our environmental footprint while restoring unused furniture to its original condition.

Promoting zero waste

By choosing to donate your seat to ÉCOSIÈGE, you are actively helping to limit waste. Rather than throwing your product away, we take care to reintroduce it into the circuit by giving it a new life. This avoids up to 40 kg of unnecessary waste per seat collected, making a significant contribution to preserving our environment.

Once recycled at our Manufacture des Cévennes, they are once again available for sale on our website. We offer you a selection of reconditioned seats that have been cleaned, and castors, jacks, bases, foams and fabrics replaced. We can also replace or add lumbar supports, headrests or armrests as required.

Care professions expose the body to many physically demanding constraints that can damage it. Due to repetitive movements and uncomfortable positions, these professionals often face intense pain on a daily basis. Fortunately, there are solutions to relieve caregivers, such as the exoskeletons offered on our ErgoSanté website!

Exoskeletons for optimized working conditions

Still largely unknown in this sector, we offer concrete solutions to relieve the daily burden on nursing staff. An exoskeleton is a medical device that enables its user to work more easily and comfortably. In particular, it helps reduce the pressure applied to the areas most affected by RSI. It is designed to correct posture, protect the back and prevent physical pain by reducing muscular strain.

The use of such equipment will not only make tasks easier, but also help prevent musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). In this case, these passive physical assistance devices provide numerous benefits for a wide range of healthcare professions, from laboratory staff to care assistants.

A successful operation

Hopital Foch in Suresnes andHôpital du Pays Salonais recently had the opportunity to test our HAPO and HAPO MS exoskeletons. These experiments appear to have been successful, as the Hôpital Foch recently placed an order for exoskeletons with our Ile-de-France agency, while the Hôpital du Pays Salonais relayed the success of its QCVT week and the HAPO presentation by the PACA agency to the " La Provence " newspaper.

We would like to warmly thank the staff of the clinical biology laboratory at Hôpital Foch, as well as the teams at Hôpital du Pays Salonais, for their confidence. Together, we are putting innovation at the service of the health of these essential personnel.

If the idea of testing exoskeletons appeals to you, schedule your trial and make an appointment at https://lnkd.in/dzr7rGw7 and discover our complete range at https://lnkd.in/gAj2nDQ.

Many stories of perseverance and courage are told in the field of sport and adventure, but some are so impressive that they leave a lasting impression. Such is the case of Sabrina Daulaus, secretary in the sports office of the 503rd Train Regiment, a woman with an extraordinary destiny.

Sabrina's determination, a source of inspiration

Victim of a service accident that left her hemiplegic in her left arm in 2012, she decided not to let her handicap get her down and to take part in international competitions with the French team of military wounded. Her incredible journey led her to take on a major challenge: climbing Mont-Blanc, Europe's highest mountain. ErgoSanté, a committed company, was on hand to support her on this ascent, leading to a real human adventure marked by solidarity and determination.

The Mont Blanc challenge: "With our wounded!"

Driven by her passion and desire to keep moving forward, she dreamed of a challenge that would symbolize her conquest of life after the accident. Thus was born the project: " Avec nos blessés!", an innovative initiative to climb Mont Blanc. Accompanied by four military personnel and mountain guides, she embarked on this epic adventure.

A collective challenge and a chain of solidarity

This challenge was much more than a simple climb. It was a profound human experience, highlighting the power of teamwork and solidarity. Throughout the 4-day ascent, the team had to contend with difficult weather conditions that made the adventure even more arduous. Unfortunately, the elements decided otherwise, and the summit at an altitude of 3,900 meters remained inaccessible to them.

Inspiring determination

Despite the ordeal of not reaching the coveted summit, the determination of Sabrina and her team remains an inspiration to all. This journey was much more than just a sporting adventure, it was an undeniable test that life goes on beyond injury. The team transcended disability thanks to their strong will to overcome obstacles.

This story reminds us that nothing is impossible when you have the will and determination. This unforgettable experience was undertaken to support wounded servicemen and women, and to push back the limits of mountaineering despite disability.

Anduze, June 29, 2023 - Starting from scratch in 2013 following long-term hospitalization for back pain, Samuel Corgne has turned his life around by creating ErgoSanté. Over the past decade, the Cévennes-based family business has made it its mission to protect the most vulnerable and relieve those who suffer. Specializing in workplace ergonomics, the company enjoyed exceptional growth, becoming the European market leader in passive exoskeletons and a French benchmark in workstation design. In 2023, the company celebrates its 10th anniversary and announces the appointment of its new Managing Director, Dominique Seau.

Successively Marketing Director and General Manager of L'Oréal in Russia and Denmark, Dominique Seau joined the Danone Group in 2001 as Marketing Director of OPAVIA-LU in the Czech Republic, then of LU France the following year. In 2004, he joined Triumph International as Co-Managing Director of the French subsidiary, before returning to his Gard roots in 2007, when he became President of Groupe Eminence in Aimargues. A position he held for 14 years. He then put his experience in operational transformation to good use, advising company directors before being appointed CEO of ErgoSanté in April 2023. " My past experience in the service of French heritage brands and innovation testifies to my commitment to the creation of sustainable value and local jobs," he explains. Well placed to lead the Group's transformation and strong growth, he has been entrusted with the forthcoming launch of "Made in USA" production in North Carolina and the raising of several tens of millions of euros to finance its international growth. " The aim is to maintain our strategy of disruptive innovation and push back our limits, while creating jobs ," explains Samuel Corgne, the Group's CEO.

The French Group celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2023.

A distributor of ergonomic solutions since its inception, ErgoSanté is taking a new step in its development by launching its own production of seats and exoskeletons in 2016 and 2017.

In 2018, the Cévennes-based SME is making a strategic shift, refocusing its activities in Anduze and strengthening its roots in the Cévennes.

In 2019, the company's commitment to inclusion led it to obtain Entreprise Adaptée (EA) status, and in 2020 its products were exhibited at the Élysée Palace, consolidating its reputation in the market. Maintaining a steady pace of several innovations and product launches each year, ErgoSanté intensifies its development from 2021 and expands into key areas such as artificial intelligence (LEA) and green growth. The company is investing in the development of responsible production and is setting up a channel dedicated to the reconditioning and recycling of professional furniture, thus promoting a circular approach in its workshops.

That same year, ErgoSanté attracted the attention of Mutuelles Impact, an initiative of the Mutualité Française, which decided to invest in the company's capital. This partnership marked the start of spectacular growth for ErgoSanté. To meet growing demand, the company adopted an active hiring policy, increased its production area for seats and exoskeletons, and expanded internationally.

In 2021 and 2022, it will inaugurate new, energy-efficient premises to support the intensification of its activities, creating 60 new jobs.

In 2022, ErgoSanté was recognized by the business magazine Challenges as one of France's 9 most beautiful SMEs, and received the ESG award Trophée des Lionnes in recognition of its corporate social responsibility.

More recently, it was awarded the CSR prize by the professional organization L'Ameublement français. Based in Anduze, the SME currently employs over 200 people. By 2022, it expects to have generated sales of 22.7 million euros, compared with 14.5 million euros the previous year. It has 30 local presences in France and 20 international presences.

As Europe's leading designer and manufacturer of passive exoskeletons under the "Hapo" brand and workstation equipment under the "Manufacture des Cévennes" brand, ErgoSanté continues to redefine industry standards by protecting the most vulnerable.

We've got good news to share with you! L'Ameublement français, which represents and supports French furniture manufacturers, has fallen in love with ErgoSanté. And guess what? We were rewarded for our ability to respond to the societal and environmental concerns of the profession - in other words, our CSR approach.

At ErgoSanté, a sustainable approach has been an integral part of our DNA since the beginning of our adventure. We create inclusive work environments where everyone is valued and supported. Here's an overview of our production chain and our CSR approach.

A company committed to its employees

As an Entreprise Adaptée, we place great emphasis on the well-being of our employees. Our investment is crucial, since 80% of employees at our Anduze factory are disabled.

On the other hand, we reuse and recondition our end-of-life products to minimize waste. We develop innovative recycling projects, transforming waste into beautiful furniture.

The environment at the heart of our CSR approach

All our production is located in France, and we are committed to responsible sourcing. We produce most of our seats and exoskeletons in our Anduze factory. Our company mainly uses raw materials of French origin, or from recycled sources. To reduce our carbon footprint, we use our own renewable energy.

To preserve ecosystems, we create carbon sinks around the world. We regularly run reforestation campaigns in Madagascar, in conjunction with local sustainable development players. We offer our partners transparent and truly effective projects to reduce their carbon footprint.

A big THANK YOU to the French furniture industry and the French manufacturing community for their recognition. We would also like to thank KATABA for producing the trophy, and yachtsman Roland Jourdain for his inspiring presence at our side.

Ergosanté, the leading French company in the design and production of passive exoskeletons, is changing the name of its flagship product "HAPO MS". From now on, the exoskeleton will be known as "HAPO FRONT". The name change is accompanied by a new logo and visual identity. In addition, the exoskeleton will be interchangeable with its new product, the "HAPO UP", sold as the "HAPO UP-FRONT" kit.

A strategic, future-oriented change

The new name was chosen to emphasize the exoskeleton's core functionality. The exoskeleton relieves the load on the upper part of the body when working at mid-height. This is made possible by the exoskeleton's lightweight, flexible design. Thanks to these qualities, workers can move around easily while wearing the device.

The name change is also part of a more general trend towards thegrowing use of exoskeletons in the workplace. Indeed, employers increasingly see these devices as a solution for improving workers' health, safety and well-being. They also increase efficiency and productivity.

The new "HAPO Front" exoskeleton helps workers perform repetitive or physically demanding tasks. It provides postural support and helps reduce work-related muscle and joint pain. Thanks to its design, it reduces the load on upper limbs, shoulders and elbows when working with arms out in front. Its permanent support enables workers to accomplish their tasks more easily and efficiently.

Better present and promote HAPO's work

Changing the name of the "HAPO MS" exoskeleton to "HAPO FRONT" is a strategic decision for Ergosanté. The company wishes to strengthen its position in the passive exoskeleton market. The new name emphasizes the exoskeleton's core functionality. With a more evocative name, customers better understand the purpose of this physical assistance device (PAD).

With this new visual identity, Ergosanté hopes to continue offering a range of innovative solutions to improve the health and well-being of workers, while increasing their efficiency and productivity.

Customer satisfaction is a key factor for any company wishing to grow and make a name for itself. At ErgoSanté, our priority is to offer efficient, high-quality ergonomic solutions to our customers. In this way, we contribute to improving the health and well-being of their employees. That's why we're proud of our successful collaboration with the GIMS ( Service de Santé au Travail, de l'Emploi, de la Formation Professionnelle et du Dialogue Social).

GIMS approves our ergonomic solutions

We worked closely with GIMS to fit out 220 ergonomic "Aigoual" seats. Our adapted company manufactures these seats in France. This leasing solution has two objectives. The first is to provide optimum comfort for GIMS employees. These ergonomic solutions also improve their well-being at work. We're delighted to see that this collaboration has been a success. GIMS employees have really felt the benefits of installing these ergonomic chairs.

We also had the opportunity to speak directly with GIMS' Managing Director, Mr. Humberto MIRANDA. We asked him how our leasing solution has impacted on his employees and their work. In the video available on our website, you can hear Mr. MIRANDA share his experience and explain how this collaboration has helped improve the well-being of his employees.

ErgoSanté, manufacturer of ergonomic seating, has ratified the charter of values of the Activateur de Progrès movement, an Agefiph initiative. This membership underlines our sincere commitment to the inclusion of people with disabilities. It also demonstrates our determination to improve the quality of life of these people, through innovative ergonomic solutions.

We have always shared the fundamental values of the #activateurdeprogrès community. The companies, associations and individuals who take part in this movement defend values and a vision of an inclusive and egalitarian future for all.

ErgoSanté, Adapted Company and Progress Activator

As anAdapted Enterprise, we firmly believe that disability is not a barrier. On the contrary, it is a permanent factor of employment and a lever for improving society as a whole.

By ratifying the Activateur de Progrès values charter, ErgoSanté promotes the social and professional inclusion of people with disabilities. We are already doing this in our own workshop in the Cévennes region, where 80% of our employees are disabled.

As part of the Activateur de Progrès movement, our actions are focused on four priority areas:

The development of inclusive products

We will be investing more in the research and development of advanced ergonomic solutions. As a preventive measure, our teams are focusing on devices to prevent RSI and potentially disabling occupational illnesses. Our ergonomic seats and passive exoskeletons help maintain good posture at work. In this way, they reduce the risk of disability or incapacity associated with a strenuous job.

We also offer curative solutions aimed primarily at the disabled. Through our agencies, we offer customized workstation design and ergonomic seating. In so doing, we make a direct contribution to the integration of disabled people into the world of work.

Our model combining inclusion, altruism and technology is working very well. Indeed, ErgoSanté will achieve sales of 14.5 million euros by 2021, with annual growth of 67%.

Awareness-raising and training

Disability and the issues surrounding it still suffer from a lack of visibility in France, particularly in the workplace. By becoming an Activateur de Progrès, we are committed to organizing awareness-raising events for our employees, business partners and the general public.

These programs will focus on the challenges faced by people with disabilities. The campaigns have a single objective: to help the public better understand the skills and needs of people with disabilities.

The search for strategic partnerships

ErgoSanté is the first and only recognized Adapted company in the professional furnishings sector. Our participation in Activateur de Progrès enables us to extend our networks and support our actions, with the help of organizations, experts and associations. Our priority is to target organizations that champion the cause of people with disabilities. Indeed, we'll be collaborating with these entities in a spirit of exchange and sharing of ideas and initiatives.

The evolution of our Corporate Social Responsibility policy

Our production process and supply chain already incorporate sustainable practices that minimize our environmental footprint. By becoming a Progress Activator, we are strengthening our CSR approach. We are redoubling our efforts to create a fair and inclusive environment for our employees and partners.

Activateur de Progrès's value charter is perfectly in line with our vision. At ErgoSanté, we strive to create a world where every person can reach their full potential, and where all differences are valued.

As Activateur de Progrès, we invite individuals, institutions and companies to join the movement. This community to "protect the fragile", as our founder Samuel Corgne so aptly put it in this Tribune published on Engagés.media.

This week, from June 19 to 23, ANACT is organizing its 20th Quality of Life and Working Conditions Week, or QVCT. The theme chosen for 2023 is entitled "Transitions and work, are we talking about it?"

Discussions will therefore focus on recent developments in the world of work and their impact on workers' well-being. Some of the issues raised byANACT are at the heart of our vision and commitments. For ErgoSanté, this week for the QWL has a special resonance.

We'll be keeping a close eye on the debates and making our own contribution. Our aim? To advance the position of the professional world on certain issues: how can we take advantage of artificial intelligence? How can we protect our health and keep people in work? How can we develop our business in a socially and environmentally responsible way?

Our company has long been working on these aspects of Quality of Life and Working Conditions.

Artificial Intelligence

We believe in the benefits of Artificial Intelligence systems for QWL. Our teams have even developed an innovative AI-based solution. Our technology, called LEA, is a mobile postural analysis application. It is available free of charge on PlayStore and AppStore. LEA is designed to assess the effectiveness of ergonomic solutions implemented in the context of manual or physically demanding work.

With a single click, the tool identifies postural constraints likely to cause MSDs. The real-time analysis focuses on joint positions and the measurement of angulations of the arms, trunk and neck in relation to their reference position. LEA then uses this scientific data to calculate RULA biomechanical scores for the work task being assessed.

Health protection and job retention

Our ergonomic seating, HAPO exoskeletons and customized workstation design service also illustrate our efforts to protect health in the workplace.

Our CSR commitments

ErgoSanté is the first and only committed company in the professional furnishings sector. That's why we support initiatives to help people with disabilities maintain and find employment.

In addition, our CSR initiatives include reducing our environmental footprint and that of our partners. Would you like to find out more about our QVCT commitments and our products?

Did you know? The agricultural sector is the second largest employer in France. More than 100 professions make up this field, many of which contribute directly to the quality of life of millions of French people. These include winegrowers, oyster farmers, horticulturalists, farm machinery operators and seasonal workers.

Strategic, the agricultural world is going through a difficult period. 1 in 3 farmers are finding it hard to recruit. The arduous nature of farming jobs inevitably makes them less attractive. According to the MSA, musculoskeletal disorders are the leading cause of recognized occupational illnesses in agriculture (93.3%). So it's important to raise the profile of these essential professions!

The Journées nationales de l'agriculture on June 16, 17 and 18 are designed to do just that. At ErgoSanté, we develop innovative solutions designed to relieve the strain on manual workers, particularly those in the agricultural sector. Our exoskeletons HAPO (dedicated to the back) and HAPO Front (dedicated to the arms and shoulders) can help you reduce the physical strain of your jobs.

These posture harnesses reduce the pain, fatigue and RSI associated with repetitive movements and high demands on the back and upper limbs. Our "made in France" solutions could play an essential role in resolving the challenges linked to the attractiveness of the sector. ErgoSanté exoskeletons have been tested many times in the field. The results have been very satisfactory for farm workers.

The circular economy is at the heart of ErgoSanté's concerns. The company has chosen to work with eco-responsible materials to manufacture its ergonomic seats. These include SEAQUAL, an innovative fabric made from recycled plastic bottles recovered from the sea. By using SEAQUAL, ErgoSanté has adopted an eco-responsible approach, contributing to the preservation of the environment.

SEAQUAL fabrics are also distinguished by their quality, durability and aesthetic appeal. These qualities are essential for ErgoSanté ergonomic seating, which is designed for use in offices, meeting rooms, classrooms and more. The seats are designed to enhance user comfort and health, while being environmentally friendly.

Our ergonomic chairs are produced in France, by our own adapted company. This choice enables ErgoSanté to participate in the creation of jobs for people with disabilities; proof of the company's commitment to societal well-being and the circular economy.

In short, ErgoSanté is a company that takes environmental and social responsibility to heart. It uses eco-responsible materials, favors local sourcing and collaborates with an adapted company for the production of its ergonomic chairs. These actions testify to the company's determination to contribute to building a more sustainable and mutually supportive future.

Recycled and local materials

Apside has been developing its Quality of Life and Working Conditions policy over the past three years. The refurbishment of its premises and the installation of reconditioned seats are part of this approach. The ErgoSanté group, through Manufacture des Cévennes, is delighted to support the ESN in this adventure.

Eco-responsible reconditioned seats for a committed company

In its quest for ergonomic, environmentally-friendly furniture, Apside has chosen Manufacture des Cévennes upcycled seating. ErgoSanté's brand of new seating and circular products shares many common features with this nugget of France's digital industry.

Manufacture des Cévennes is currently France's only Adapted Enterprise in the second-hand professional furniture sector. For its part, Apside owns the Apsid'EA brand. This is the first Adapted Enterprise in the digital services sector to be 100% owned by an ESN group. Apsid'EA employs more than 10 disabled people.

In a spirit of sharing and respect for common values, Manufacture des Cévennes delivered 20 reconditioned seats to Apside's head office in Boulogne-Billancourt.

A win-win partnership between two Adapted Enterprises

Buying upcycled furniture is a meaningful choice and a bet on the future. By doing so, Apside reduces the overall environmental impact of its furniture. In fact, Manufacture des Cévennes chairs consume no raw materials from the extractive sector. Our partner also benefits from other positive spin-offs:

- The cost of these reconditioned seats is deductible from Agefiph contributions.

- Less expensive, reconditioned seats reduce fitting costs and allow investment in other QVCT aspects.

Finally, Manufacture des Cévennes' CSR approach is in line with the values defended by Apside. Like us, the company respects the 10 fundamental principles of the United Nations Global Compact. It is committed to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals as defined by the UN.

Apside's CSR performance has been recognized in France. In 2020 and 2021, it was awarded the EcoVadis silver medal, a platform for assessing the CSR commitments of SMEs, SMIs and large French companies. As a result, Apside is among the top 25% of companies in terms of social and environmental responsibility. We are delighted to contribute to their success.

A reconditioned product in our workshop

In a world of ever-increasing consumption of consumer goods, Manufacture des Cévennes has chosen a different path. The company gives a second life to products that would otherwise be thrown away, buried or incinerated. It specializes in the reconditioning of office, waiting room and conference chairs.

Expertise in reconditioning

Contrary to popular belief, seat reconditioning is not simply a matter of cleaning. The process is both technical and complex, requiring specialized expertise to ensure that the seats are as good as new. Manufacture des Cévennes' seatreconditioning workshop has that expertise. The company takes great care with each seat it reconditions to deliver a final product that will meet its customers' expectations.

The company has created a video to give an insight into the breadth of its expertise and commitment to quality. The video shows the seat reconditioning workshop. It also shows the various stages of the process, from quality testing to preparing seats for shipment.
